In the Holiday rush

Presents delivered,

All done for today,

Santa is heading

To North Pole in his sleigh.

Tired but happy,

Reindeer move briskly:

Santa is dreaming

Of a hot tea with whiskey

On this rainy Christmas night

In the holiday glow

City of Nanaimo

Is dreaming of snow

Quiet and peaceful,

Cozy and warm,

Families are sleeping

Safe in their homes.

Little kids in their dreams

Always see something sweet.

Young athlete is dreaming

Of winning the meet.

A kitty is dreaming

Of tuna with rice.

Mom sees in her dreams

That all kids behave nice.

Daddy is dreaming

Of more healthy habits.

Doggy is dreaming of

Rabbits and… rabbits.
